| RBIPlastics cages have been designed around the real world needs of larger reptile keepers and breeders. You won't find a flimsy cage here. The cage body uses a unique one piece design constructed with heavy duty 3/8" PVC instead of the more common 1/4" material. This feature along with the center brace double door design makes a very sturdy cage. The 2x4 divided cage also includes standard features such as deluxe door hinges and locks, stacking alignment pins, vent slots. Optional built in heat comes with our probe slot (This allows the thermostat probe to be placed directly on the heat tape WITHOUT having the probe inside the cage. It is hidden safely underneath the cage!) or you can select dual 11"x11" Ultratherm heat mats. This cage is permanently divided in half with seperate heat for each section. Each section is approx. 22"x22" inside. Fully stacking compatible with our other 2x4 cages and pedestals. Door height is 8 1/2", overall cage height is 11 1/2". This model can be stacked seven cages high. The bottom of the cage is a smooth, one piece design that is sealed to prevent leaking. Pictured on optional pedestal, sold seperately. Cage dimensions: 45.5"x23"x11.5" We strongly suggest an Infrared thermometer to go with your cages if you do not already have one. Precise monitoring of your cage temps will only increase your chances of success with your animals. We use and recommend the RBI model 412L for most applications.
