| The Aquatec 8800 is ideally suited to run larger size misting systems with up to 65-75 misting nozzles in most cases. After looking a several pumps we have selected this pump for several reasons. The performance is great, hard to beat at any price! This pump also has a great track record in many applications such as RO water pressure booster. The pump comes with the required 24 volt transformer and 1/4" OR 3/8" Quick connect fittings. To get maximum yield from your 8800 pump you will want to use the 3/8" model. You will get the best results from a 3/8" pump if you DO NOT use 1/4" reducers right at the pump! Only reduce at each mist head. We offer 3/8"x3/8"x1/4" "T" fittings for this application. If you need to get more than 35-40 mist heads running we would suggest the 3/8" upgrade. While it is not recommended, this pump can be run dry for extended periods without damage. Very quiet operation on the vibration damping mount. This pump is also featured in our complete misting packages. |
