Helix Controls DBS1000 Proportional Thermostat (Grounded)
We now stock the grounded version of the Helix Controls DBS 1000 Proportional Thermostat. We went with these over some of the more trendy thermostats because we know them well. This model is ideal for applications that require a grounded or 3 prong plug. Otherwise they setup and function exactly like the DBS-1000 standard version.
I have personally used Helix thermostats for about ten years now and have never had a single problem. These are proportional thermostats so they work great with heat lamps, heat tape or about any other reptile heat source. Have questions? Take a look at our Thermostat FAQ in the HELP section.

- Reptile Basics now features a 6' probe cord on our Helix instead of the standard 4' cord.
- This proportional controller mimics nature by continuously adjusting the amount of power delivered to the heater, as opposed to simply turning ON and OFF as done by other manufacturers.
