UV Clarifiers

We use and recommend a UV clarifier with all turtle pond applications!  Due to the high concentrations of food and waste in turtle ponds or well populated Koi ponds you can very rapidly develop a green water problem (Boy, did we ever!).  A UV Clarifier will help keep this under control.  Be sure to select a unit suitable for your pond size- bigger is often better in ponds with a heavy bio load.  Also, keep your water flow through UV clarifiers relatively low, the longer the "burn time" on algae the higher the kill rate.
