The Quantity entered is the number of feet desired.
This heat tape is ideal for use under large reptile caging or rack systems, home brewing applications and seedling mats. It can be cut to the length required and is SOLD BY THE FOOT. Our continuous element style of 12" heat tape is superior to the "panel" version as it offers more even heat distrobution and can be cut to almost any length.
The Quantity entered is the number of feet desired. Does NOT include wire/clip/insulator set which must be ordered separately if needed. 23 watts per foot.
Element width is +/- .125" Lengths of more than 25' are not recommended. Due to how this element is manufactured the length can vary by +/- 1/4" PER FOOT. Generally it is less than that but ORDER EXTRA.
This heat tape MUST be used with a thermostat. We use and recommend the new Vivarium Electronics line of thermostats.

Instructions on how to wire heat tape were very clear on RBI's site and my ten level 41 qt rack came together cleanly and easily.
