Aquarium Conversion Kit-10 Gallon Long

Checkout our newest break-through in the acrylic enclosure market!  Aquarium Conversion Kits for arboreal species! This kit fits either a 10 gallon LONG. Our kits are 1/4" thick and feature low profile, rust proof magnets to keep the door securely closed. We also offer the ability to lock the door using an ALL acrylic lock set that is sold separately.

Actual dimensions are: 19.50" x 9.75" We used an Aqueon 10 Gallon LONG, but please measure your enclosure to ensure proper fit.

This product is ideal for transforming that old, dusty, and dirty aquarium we all have lying around the house into a beautiful arboreal habitat! Remember that this only includes the acrylic door. You will need to purchase aquarium safe silicone from your preferred store or online marketplace.

Installation is easy:

• Make sure your aquarium is resting on the bottom of the enclosure with the opening facing upwards.
• Place the conversion kit into the black channels around the opening of the aquarium-making sure the kit fits flush with the top of the enclosure.
• Apply a small line of silicone along the outer edges of the aquarium. 
• Use a caulking tool or other small and smooth item to level out the silicone.
• Follow the instructions on the silicone tube to allow for proper drying/curing time.
• Confirm that the aquarium is completely clean and clear of all silicone smell before placing your animal into its new habitat.
