Works well but...
I'm giving this 2 stars because this had been recommended to me (on this site) to use with the arcadia deep heat projector. However, the bulb directly touches the mesh covering (I am using this over my terrarium mesh covering) which you do NOT want. It is a good socket, well made and stirty but I would not recommend for the deep heat projector if you are using it over mesh.
